Aberdeen City Council gives unanimous Support to the bid

Aberdeen City Council gave its unanimous support to the Aberdeen BID on 24th May 2011. David Halliday, Aberdeen BID Director, confirms that the ballot date will be 4th August 2011

The ballot papers are scheduled to go out on June 22 2011. Voters have 42 days maximum to return the ballot paper.

The ballot is scheduled for August 4 2011, and again assuming no delays the result will be known on August 5 2011.

All businesses will then be informed of the result week commencing August 8 2011

Aberdeen BID Director, David Halliday, declared our intention to go to ballot to Aberdeen City Council and the Scottish Government on February 3 2011.

The draft Proposal Document was despatched week ending February 18 2011, to all eligible businesses, the local addresses, the billing address and the known head office addresses.

This was the start of the final consultation process, comments are still encouraged and the BID Team are happy to address any concerns or clarifications that companies have.
